The planning season Even though the Christmas ads are all over the TV, we shouldn’t rush headlong into the festive season. Autumn should be a time for reflection, not a forgettable interlude before the Christmas break and the promise of a new year.  Autumn is often the season of budgets, proposal and tenders. It’s when businesses all over the country finalise their plans for the coming year and consider their longer-term aims, and as such it’s a fundamental part of the business cycle. The groundwork that is done at this time of year sets us up for success in the new year and looking back can be invaluable too.

We can celebrate all the things we’ve achieved, recognise the progress we’ve made and learn lessons from the things that didn’t turn out quite the way we anticipated. In short, this time of year is an opportunity and we should make the most of it.

This year's trade shows are over, but we're still here ... October was a busy month for trade shows and expos , but the hard work certainly continued into November, following up on new prospects and welcoming new clients to the Access2 portfolio . GAI Education Awards 2019 The Access2 team was delighted to attend the 2019 GAI Education Awards at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 7th November. It means a lot to us to recognise and celebrate the outstanding educational achievements of the door hardware industry's rising stars. A huge congratulations are in order for all the hard-working students.

And a massive thank you to GAI for hosting such a brilliant event with some fantastic guest speakers, including Ben Collins, the original Stig. Here's to all current and future r ising stars . Well done everyone!

Clint in Dubai Access2 Sales Director , Clint Robertson is spending the last days of November in Dubai . His schedule has been packed full of events and customer meetings . On Monday night he attended the IAI GCC Branch Awards Event where over 50 attendees were there to congratulate the new Diploma holders as well as the award winners.

He has also had the opportunity to attend the Big5 Exhibition , which is always a great place to network with contacts from around the globe.
