Head Start on Spring Projects

Fall and winter are good times to be thinking about and planning your landscape projects for the coming season. By submitting your applications now, you can more easily schedule a contractor when it is convenient for you and not be in a rush when they have limited openings. You will also have more choices of plant material and won’t be restricted to what is left at the end of the season.

You have one year to complete your project from the approval date so start planning and beat the rush.

As a reminder, permanent lighting must be applied for and approved by the Design Review Committee.

Please reach out to a Design Review Coordinator with any questions and to schedule an appointment to review your application.

Winter Reminders

Using Caution Near Oquirrh Lake

As a reminder, please be cautious while around the lake this winter. Keep a safe distance when the lake is frozen over and never walk onto the ice. Anyone found on the ice will be trespassed and subject to amenity suspension.

Please keep children close and ensure pets are always on leash. Finally, remember ice fishing is never permitted on Oquirrh Lake.

For more information on lake safety, please see the video below.

Snow Pushing Reminders

During snow events, South Jordan City requires residents to park on the even side of the street. The Association does not begin snow pushing until the end of a snow event with at least 2” of snow accumulation or more.

As a reminder, single-family homeowners are responsible for removing snow from the public sidewalks surrounding their homes per South Jordan City Ordinances. Visit the link below for more details.

We have a new closure schedule for the Dog Park! To protect the Dog Park and ensure the sustainability of the amenity, the park will close for a week each month to allow the turf to recover. These closures will occur between the 1st and 7th of each month.

Please follow the rules of the Dog Park to ensure that it remains an enjoyable place for all residents and their pets. Also, please be courteous and pick up after your pet.
