Dear Community Partners,
As we welcome the month of May, we would like to take a moment to highlight Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental health is an essential component of overall health and well-being, and we encourage everyone to prioritize their mental health and seek support when needed for ourselves and for those we serve.
We also wanted to remind you about our upcoming Early Childhood Fair on May 20th. This event is an excellent opportunity to learn about resources and services available for families with young children. There will be various activities and vendors, so make sure to mark your calendars.
In addition, we would like to share information about our Bridge to College program for graduating seniors. This program provides resources and support to help students navigate the college application process successfully. If you know a high school senior who could benefit from this program, please encourage them to reach out to us.
We are thrilled to announce that we will be graduating the first cohort of Raising Highly Capable Kids. This series of parent workshops were offered in Spanish. This program equips participants with the tools and resources needed to raise confident and resilient children. We are proud to offer this program in Spanish to serve our diverse community. Please stay tuned for our next opportunity to support families with this awesome opportunity.
Lastly, we would like to thank everyone who attended our 2023 three-part annual convening. They were highly successful events, and we appreciate everyone who participated. We would like to share some of the resources that were discussed during the convening, which you can find included in this newsletter.
As always, we value your feedback and support. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Edith Presley
