New Trio Tour

Red Cloud, NE

A new guided tour is available for booking at the Willa Cather Foundation. Included are the newly restored Willa Cather Childhood Home, The Farmers and Merchants Bank and the Red Cloud Opera House.

The tour is an hour-long experience that gives visitors a comprehensive overview of Willa Cather's early years in Red Cloud.

Music at Miller Park

The fourth annual Music in Miller Park Series begins July 13th. The free community-sponsored summer concert series features Enjoli and Timeless, an Omaha R&B/Soul band.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and come and vibe to the sultry, smooth sounds that will fill a summer evening with soul.

Independence Day Celebration

Minden, NE

It is not too late to celebration Independence Day at Pioneer Village July 6th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

There will be loads of fun family activities, plenty of refreshments and of course old-fashioned fireworks.

Free to members, $15 for non-member adults and $7.50 for kids.

Medicinal Sacred Plant Medicine

Lincoln, NE

One of an on-going educational series of traditional medicine practices by the Intertribal Medicine Collective focusing on healing traditions and cultural preservation of Indigenous Peoples.

The program will be presented July 11th by Felicia Welke, of the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. Welke has studied indigenous healing modalities for over a decade will share traditional and modern use of sage.
