CSMSG’s Little Sprouts Nursery for our youngest parishioners opens on Sunday, October 3 for the 9 AM Christian education hour and the 10 AM service. Located in a classroom on the lower level of the church, the nursery has been redesigned to better meet the needs of young families. Parishioners Naomi Merrihue and Katherine Sleckman will oversee the operations of the nursery. Naomi is studying child psychology and also supervises the aftercare program at St. Ambrose Catholic School. Katherine is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia and is working as a research assistant through the Siteman Cancer Center. Naomi and Katherine will be supported by volunteers from the parish.
Upon arrival, parents should stop at the Children’s Ministry check-in cart located inside the Wydown Playground doors to print out a badge before proceeding to the nursery. Please bring a bag packed with necessities such as diapers, pacifiers or teething toys, bottles or snacks. For the safety of the children, the nursery will not provide food or drink to the children.
In order to ensure that the nursery is properly staffed each Sunday, registration via Realm is required, preferably by the Thursday prior.
