2023 ORIENTATION WEEK CALENDAR

Monday August 5:

Parent Orientation (The Family Church) 6:00 pm: This informative night covers our policies, procedures, and gives parents an overall summary of what they can expect from the 2024-2025 school year. Spirit shirts and PE uniforms will be for sale. Students do not need to attend.

Wednesday, August 7th:

PreK - 2nd Grade Orientation (The Family Church) 10:00 am - 11:30 am: Students are to be in full uniform and bring their supplies to school. This is counted as the first day of school. One parent needs to attend with their student.

Thursday, August 8th:

3rd - 5th, Grade Orientation (The Family Church) 10:00 am - 11:30 am: Students are to be in full uniform and bring their supplies to school. This is counted as the first day of school. One parent needs to attend with their student. PE uniforms will be available for purchase in the Elementary Gym, 11:30-12:00 for 5th graders.

Friday, August 9th:

6th - 8th Grade Orientation (Dining Hall) 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (Parents welcome) Students are to be in full uniform and bring their supplies to school. This is counted as the first day of school. School ID pictures will be taken on this day. (School ID pictures for 6th - 12th grade will be used as their Fall picture in the yearbook). PE uniforms will be sold during orientation in the Plex.

9th - 12th Grade Orientation (Sportsplex) 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm (Parents do not attend) Students are to be in full uniform and bring their supplies to school.

This is counted as the first day of school. School ID pictures will be taken on this day. (School ID pictures for 6th - 12th grade will be used as their Fall picture in the yearbook). PE uniforms will be sold during orientation in the Plex.

If you would like to participate in the lunch program at Lafayette Christian Academy for the 2024 - 2025 school year, please fill out and submit the online form Prepay Lunch Program available in your parent portal. The menu provides a variety of food and changes every two weeks. If your student would like a school lunch, they will have the option to choose a hot lunch, a salad, or a sandwich/wrap.

OPTION 1 – Prepay for the 2024 – 2025 School Year

This contract is non-transferable and is for the entire 2024 – 2025 school year. You may pay for this option online through your parent portal or in the elementary business office. The deadline to sign up for the yearly lunch program is Friday, August 9^th.

OPTION 2 - Order Lunch Daily with the PaySchools App

We will no longer be offering a monthly option. Your PaySchools account allow you to add money so that your child can purchase lunch daily. More information on how to activate your account/purchase lunch daily will be sent out during your students’ orientation. Students are also allowed to bring lunch from home.

PE Uniforms

5th-12th grade students will dress out for PE.

PE uniforms can be purchased at Parent Orientation, 3rd-12th grade Orientations, and in PE with their coach.

Shirts are $12

Shorts are $12

*Any small cinch will work.

We still have a few sponsorship spots available for the upcoming school year! If you would like to be a part of our 2024-2025 sponsorships please access the link below! Click on the sponsorship you would like and submit the page, it will go directly to our athletic department. Once our athletic department receives the submission they will invoice you!

Carpool Tags

If you need to request a car tag for a carpool (multiple students from different families), please email Mrs. Liebert with a list of all of the students (full names and grade levels). The office must confirm that the pick up lists match the requests. All carpool requests must be in writing and given to the office ahead of time.

You do not need to request a car tag for your individual family. Each family will receive a car tag on Orientation.
