We are the stewards of the life
God has given us.
The woman poured costly oil all over Jesus’s feet and wiped them with her hair. You could say “What an extravagant waste!” But that’s what God’s love for us is like – lavish, overflowing with generosity, and beyond what is rational or what we can comprehend.

We are stewards of the life that God has given us. Our life is not about hoarding or about conserving life for its own sake but its opposite: about giving. St. James’s is a touchstone to connect our faith and a lifeline for so many.

This year we’re 125 pledges short of our goal. But as you can see by the chart, we’re getting closer to our 2021 financial goal. If you have already given, thank you. If you haven’t, please help us be stewards of the life God has given us—in whatever amount you can.

You can make your 2021 pledge by clicking on doers.org/give or by calling Suzanne Hall at (804)355-1779 x335 to make your pledge. You may also text Doers to 77977.
