Do You Have Questions?
Do you sit aloft a lonely hilltop in the spring,
Wonder what this spring will bring,
Puffy clouds surfing the azure-aquamarine sky,
Do you have questions for the creator who resides on high?
Or see the sundog suddenly appear out of the blue,
Fresh-clean-sweet smell of flowers kissed by the dew,
Or watching-wondering as the ceaseless pounding of the waves upon the shore,
Do you have questions for the creator who resides on high?
Enjoy the balmy summer eve when day vanishes - the sky takes on different hues,
Off the horizon a light gray changes into the darkness of the night.
The harvest moon heavy in the sky & the stars sparkle diamond bright,
Do you have questions for the creator who resides on high?
As the cool days & nights change the green leaves to colors, oh so bright,
The palette is colorful beyond description;
Yellow, burnt orange, goldenrod & shades of rust,
As they dismount the branches-swirling-dancing unto the ground-alight,
Do you have questions for the creator who resides on high?
Temperatures plumed, the snow fall blanket the ground leaving it sparkling white,
Hanging icicles, the water in the pond freezes, the blades of our skates mar its face.
Sledding down the hill a speeds, laughter-squeaks are pure delight.
Do you have questions for the creator who resides on high?
