Have you heard about the Young Professionals of Northwest Florida Leadership Conference? Hosted by the Crestview Area, Destin, Greater Fort Walton Beach, Niceville Valparaiso, and Walton Area Chambers of Commerce, along with Northwest Florida State College, the conference will unite the area's strong Young Professionals groups to tap into the knowledge and expertise of community and business leaders. Attendees will enjoy a combination of panels and speakers on leadership, turning criticism into advice, community involvement, and more. The agenda will be announced soon.

Seeking Business & Technical Professionals for Destin High School Career Day

Help Destin High School sophomores and juniors discover new opportunities by sharing your career story and answering questions. The format will be speed networking, which offers a quick-paced information exchange between professionals and small groups of students. The event is Wednesday, April 26, from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., at Destin United Methodist Church.

Florida Chamber Foundation's Northwest Florida Employer Focus Groups

In partnership with CareerSource Florida, the Florida Chamber Foundation and CareerSource ESCAROSA are co-hosting skills-based employer focus groups on March 28, 2023, in Pensacola to support the Florida Workforce Needs Study 2.0 research effort.


These employer-only sessions will help the Foundation:

·    Catalogue best practices in employer-educator partnerships, and

·    Identify ways to maximize utilization of training support initiatives
