Housing and transportation are two important factors connecting communities to employment, education, and vital services. Please join the Brookings Institution's Metropolitan Policy Program for a discussion of the efforts of the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Transportation
to expand access to opportunity and reduce inequality in the United States.
The event will feature a moderated discussion with HUD Secretary
Julián Castro and U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Fox, followed by a panel featuring experts from the Metropolitan Policy Program and the Annie Casey Foundation.
