Back to School Ladies Night Out

A ladies night out to celebrate Back to School!!!


Moms- If you had to send your little one on the bus or your older one off to college, let's meet up for a night out to share stories and support.

Confirmation Class

Confirmation means "saying yes". In confirmation God's promise to the individual made at baptism is confirmed and marks the passage from childhood to youth.

Milestone Faith Formation

with Prince of Peace:

 First Communion

This fall Prince of Peace will offer First Communion instruction in preparation for celebrating this faith formation milestone during worship on Sunday, October 20 at 10 a.m.

 

Receiving the sacrament of Holy Communion for the first time is important to the Christian life and for our growth in faith. If your child has been asking about Holy Communion, it’s the appropriate time for conversation and preparation to receive this gift of grace.

Sunday Morning Adult Study Planned

Prince of Peace’s Fall 2024 Adult Faith Formation begins Sunday, September 15 following Sunday worship with Making Sense of Scripture, a seven-week series designed to engage to common questions about scripture and how to read the Bible. The class will meet Sept. 15, Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27, Nov. 3, 10.


If you’ve ever wondered - What is the Bible? Is the Bible true? How is the Bible the Word of God? Where did the Bible come from? How can I read the Bible with greater understanding? Is there a “Center” to Scripture? What kind of authority does the Bible hold? – perhaps this study will help open your imagination and build your confidence in scripture study.

Basket Weaving

On Sunday, September 15th at 2:00 p.m., the women are invited to come and learn to weave their own basket. There is no cost as our WELCA will be paying for the materials. 


There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the Narthex and you must sign up by September 8th so we will know how much material will be needed.  Questions...contact Marci Sharp at 203-775-4657.
