YOUR WEEKLY EMPLOYEE NEWS UPDATE | |
Please be advised that we are experiencing an uptick of positive COVID cases on campus. While we’ve returned to a state of pre-pandemic operations, it is critical to stay current and thorough on our policies and practices in times of recurrence.
For your reference, click here for the policies for resident and staff exposure testing, and click here for COVID + protocols. Please review these policies and ensure all exposures and cases are managed accordingly.
If you are symptomatic it is your responsibility to remain home and pursue COVID testing. In the event of a high risk exposure, you should test at home on day 1, day 3 and day 5 post exposure. Source control will be utilized along with self-screening for symptoms of COVID-19. If asymptomatic, you will maintain your current work schedule.
Please practice vigilance, as an illness due to COVID will require work restriction for 5 days, and will require the use of PTO.

These funds can be used on public transportation systems within the jurisdiction of Pace, Metra, or Chicago Transit Authority.

"Misericordia is organizing a Coat Drive to meet the desperate need for warm winter coats, sweaters and sweatshirts, gloves, hats and scarves for newly arrived immigrants to the City of Chicago. So many have never lived through winter, much less a Chicago winter. If you have any items you could donate, please know we would appreciate receiving them. There are people in desperate need whom we would like to help. This Coat Drive is also a project that Misericordia’s residents can help us to sort, box, and distribute the warm clothing to Chicago-area organizations assisting our newly arrived families." --- Sr. Rosemary
Please note: If you are unable to bring your donations to campus, click here for other city-wide donation centers.
