Cornerstone is excited to welcome back Matt Stegenga as our guest preacher this Sunday! He'll be preaching on Acts 2:1-8 with a sermon titled, "Holy Discomfort". You can read more about Matt below. We're excited to see you at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. online!

Matt grew up as an MK (missionary kid) in the rainforest of southern Mexico. He learned to speak three languages: Cho’l, English, and Spanish natively. He's spent over 30 years in marketing but is currently enjoying the low stress life as a local delivery semi-truck driver.

Prior to becoming part of Cornerstone, Matt and his wife, Kristin, had been members at Presbyterian Church of Stanley since 1998. Matt was ordained an elder and Kristin as a deacon. In his role as an elder, Matt was often enlisted to assist in leading worship which eventually led him to pursue a call to ministry and attend a number of years of seminary. While he has yet to complete his seminary education, Matt loves the Lord and serving the church as God calls and leads.

Cornerstone Basics is a class designed for you to learn more about the basics of the Christian faith. Cornerstone Elder, Deb Swirczynski, will lead the class through Faith Foundations by David Platt. Details and registration below!

Join us for a night of modern worship on Sunday, May 19th at 6:00PM in the Worship Center. We'll gather together to sing and encounter Jesus's presence. This event is for all ages. Invite your friends and family to join us!

Families are invited to attend the Cornerstone Kids pool party on Saturday, June 1st from 4:00-7:00PM! Chick-Fil-A and drinks will be provided. Make sure to bring bathing suits, towels, sunscreen, and anything else you may need for some fun in the sun! This is an open-house event so come-and-go as you need. Put the skills God has given you into action! We're looking for additional communion servers and volunteers. This is a monthly serve opportunity where you can serve when your schedule allows and in the worship service you attend. An immediate need is clean-up help after the 11:00AM service.
