It's Mother's Day weekend! Whether you’re a mom with kids still at home, or with kids all grown up, or whether you’re an aunt, a mother figure, or someone who longs to be a mom, we want to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day. In God’s word, He recognizes you as capable, strong and praiseworthy. Everything you do makes our lives more beautiful. Happy Mother’s Day!

Cornerstone is excited to welcome Brad Buescher as our guest preacher this Sunday! He'll be preaching on Luke 20:1-8 with a sermon titled, "A Question of Authority". You can read more about Brad below. We're excited to see you at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. online!

Brad Buescher spent 30 years as a pastor in the EPC (eight of those years serving at Covenant Chapel) before joining EPC World Outreach Staff as the Director of Strategic Trips and Engage 2025 Coordinator. His hearts desire is to raise awareness of people groups with least access to the gospel. One way he does this is by leading vision trips to places where our EPC global workers live and minister in the 10/40 Window. 

Brad and his wife, Michele, live in Overland Park and have three grown children. Their youngest, Luke, and his wife, Bianca, are expecting a baby in June which will be Brad and Michele's first grandchild!

Cornerstone Basics is a class designed for you to learn more about the basics of the Christian faith. Cornerstone Elder, Deb Swirczynski, will lead the class through Faith Foundations by David Platt. Details and registration below!

Join us for a night of modern worship on Sunday, May 19th at 6:00PM in the Worship Center. We'll gather together to sing and encounter Jesus's presence. This event is for all ages. Invite your friends and family to join us!

Join the Cornerstone Kids Ministry for some outdoor fun tomorrow from 2:00-4:00pm! This is a time to be with our community and spend time making memories with our kids. Activities include the playground, tie-dye, soccer, frisbees, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and more. The Single Mom KC is our May Mission Focus! TSMKC seeks to connect families and communities to single mothers while offering the love and hope of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through mentoring, seminars and workshops, family activities, a clothing boutique, and assistance with obtaining household goods.

Throughout May, Cornerstone will collect the following new items for The Single Mom KC (donation bags in the lobby!):

• Full-size liquid body wash
• Full-size body lotion
• Full-size shampoo and/or conditioner
• Deodorant
• Toothpaste
• Make-up: eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, blush, lipstick
• Feminine hygiene products
