Cornerstone is excited to welcome back Brad Buescher as our guest preacher this Sunday! You can read more about Brad below. We're excited to see you at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. online!

Brad Buescher spent 30 years as a pastor in the EPC (eight of those years serving at Covenant Chapel) before joining EPC World Outreach Staff as the Director of Strategic Trips and Engage 2025 Coordinator. His hearts desire is to raise awareness of people groups with least access to the gospel. One way he does this is by leading vision trips to places where our EPC global workers live and minister in the 10/40 Window. 

Brad and his wife, Michele, live in Overland Park and have three grown children. Their youngest, Luke, and his wife, Bianca, are expecting a baby this month which will be Brad and Michele's first grandchild!

Event: Tour the Truman Presidential Library

Date: Thursday, June 13th

Time: 9:30AM (meet at the church at 8:45AM if you want to carpool)

Where: Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum (500 W. U.S. Hwy 24, Independence, MO)

Cost: $8 per person, free parking

Description: Join us on an hour and a half guided tour to learn more about Harry Truman's presidency and his life as a citizen. Be sure to RSVP so we know to expect you!

Eagle Lake Camp is officially around the corner (July 22-26)! To help us prepare for camp, our June Mission Focus is to collect various food and drink items for our camp counselors and church staff!

• View our list of needed items by visiting our SignUp Genius and register for the items you'd like to donate.
• Nonperishables can be brought in between worship services every Sunday in June and July and dropped into our mission bin.
• Please do not bring perishable items until July 7th and July 14th.
• All donations need to be at the church by Wednesday, July 17th.

Serving Opportunities During Camp:

We've already had several people register for check-in and already have four host homes for our camp counselors. Thank you so much!

• We have a few volunteer positions still available and we also need 3 to 4 more host homes.

Our next Fellowship Dinner is coming up! Join us on Thursday, June 27th from 6:00-7:30PM at Unforked (7337 W 119th St Overland Park, KS 66213). This time together is a great way to meet new people and share a meal together. We hope to see you there!

NOTE: Unforked is still renovating their space from a kitchen fire last year but it should be open by the time of our dinner. If not, we'll communicate a new location.
