Dear Cornerstone Family,
Words cannot express the joy and privilege I have had serving you as Lead Pastor. I will leave here with many fond memories of God’s power and presence in our midst. From the movie theater days to this wonderful and beautiful campus, I rejoice in what God did. Most of all it has been you, the backbone of Cornerstone, that have given me and my family the greatest joy. We will surely miss you. You have welcomed us into your community and treated us like family. You have held us up in prayer as we went through some of our hardest moments in our family history. You have encouraged us. You have loved us. We are so grateful and we praise God for you.
Departures are never easy, so we leave with mixed emotions. I just want to express my love and thanks to you. My time at Cornerstone has shaped me in many ways. We faced many challenges but we all saw God lead and provide all that we needed. I will always have wonderful memories from our experience here. I also want to thank the staff and leadership for their love and support. It has been a great joy to work alongside of them. You are in good hands. Cherish them, encourage them and pray for them.
As I leave, I would like to encourage you in your spiritual journey. I will continue to pray for you and for Cornerstone in the next season God has for you. I will be praying for your next pastor. The Lord has already prepared that person for you. God’s providence is far beyond our imagination. I pray that you will hold tightly to Christ, that the things of this world will have less attention from your heart. It is my prayer that you will strive to know more of God’s grace and mercy. May Christ become more and more precious to you. Love God, love people and serve this city and beyond.
May God richly bless you,
