Pentecost is celebrated on the fiftieth day after Easter, commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem.

Crib room coverage this week

Church School field trip to the Hamilton Homestead

Join your church school friends and families for a leisurely jaunt over to the Hamiltons house to see their new baby chicks and grown up hens, their new puppy and Mr Pickles the Cat (and maybe the elusive Toni) and learn a thing or two about beekeeping. This is a low key fellowship opportunity to slow down for a few minutes and smell the roses (or whatever is blooming in their garden and there will be plenty)!

This Monday | “God & Country: The Rise of Christian Nationalism” movie screening sponsored by RJMT

UCC Norwell’s Racial Justice Ministry Team invites you to a screening of "God & Country: The Rise of Christian Nationalism" on Monday, May 20 at 7:00pm at the Cameo Theater in South Weymouth. 

Ring for the Rose

On Sunday, June 2 at 3:00pm, the Rockin’ Ringers (youth) and the Celestial Ringers (adult) of UCC Norwell will present an exciting and varied program of handbell music in a concert that is free and open to the public. An offering will be taken to benefit the Rose Conservatory, an afterschool program designed to teach musical skills (including violin, piano, voice and percussion) to Brockton youth. An ice-cream social, with make your own sundaes, will follow the concert.

Associate Pastor Update

Rev. Peter Strobel will begin his ministry with us on July 15, 2024. More information will be forthcoming about plans to welcome Peter and Allie and celebrate this new chapter of our life together!

Wednesday Worship | This Summer

This summer, we’re moving worship from Sunday mornings to Wednesday evenings! Join us for:

• Casual Dinner: 5:00-5:45pm on the front lawn.
• Worship Service: 6:00pm in the Sanctuary, featuring worship in the round.

Mark Your Calendars:

• Last Sunday Worship: June 23 at 10:00am.
• No Services: June 30 and September 1.

Bible Study and Prayer Group:
