or a few small stones; just pay attention, then patch a few words together and don't try to make them elaborate, this isn't a contest but the doorway into thanks, and a silence in which another voice may speak.

Volunteer at nOURish BRIDGEPORT

Bridgeport's largest food pantry delivers groceries and produce to thousands of people each week thanks to a hydroponic farm started in order to provide wholesome, fresh food in the middle of Bridgeport’s “food desert.” One in 4 Bridgeport residents face daily food insecurity and/or lack access to nutritious produce. Our parish has agreed to help at the food pantry (located at 2200 North Avenue in Bridgeport) the third Wednesday afternoon of every month. We might be stocking shelves or serving as personal shoppers to the pantry’s neighbors, so that they can select their own groceries with dignity. Questions? Email Fiona Hodgson or Kathy Knapp to learn more. Ready to volunteer? Sign up here to volunteer on Wednesday afternoons.
