Dear Young People...(and everyone else:)
The Message
Each week, we have the opportunity to pray and share a word to encourage our readers. On top of the blessing of having the opportunity to share weekly, on average, 59 to 62% of our subscribers actually open our prayer, compared to an open rate of 42.74% for similar faith-based organizations nationally. I'd say that's pretty good! Praise God for the favor we have that people read the prayer regularly and even look for it each week. We strive to get 100% of our readers, currently that’s 252 subscribers, to open the prayer because we believe the message we share is from God because it is His Word that we share, and we want to bless the people in our community both here and abroad. We also look for our readers to click on the links embedded in the email, however, those numbers are usually quite low to zero. On the flip side, we've had a few people unsubscribe from receiving our weekly prayers, which is all a part of ministry and outreach. People come and some decide to go but the Lord knows the heart of His creation and blesses everyone giving them the opportunity to hear the Word through any and all available outlets. Just wanted to share this information with you because it is our desire to increase the number of subscribers. Each week, we share the Word of God, God's love, and God's truth with whoever will listen. Sometimes, people don't want to hear what God's Word says because it goes against things they want to do. Sometimes, a prayer is prayed or a Word shared that touches right at the heart of an individual. Praise God for that because He uses us, and others like us, as conduits to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All the time, at every turn, God wants the message of His deep love to be shared with everyone because He doesn't want anyone to perish (2 Pet. 3:9) but He wants all to come to know Him, and all means all. So, I'm asking you to share this prayer with a family member, a friend, a co-worker, and have them sign up to receive our weekly prayer. I don't talk often about giving because it is a very touchy subject for some, but I feel compelled to ask you to give. Give what you can. It doesn't have to be a lot. Yes, it will certainly bless the ministry - we still have work to do - but you, too, will also be blessed for giving. The blessing of giving, especially when you WANT to give and not because you HAVE TO give and it's not coerced or guilted, is that the Lord sends down His blessings upon you and when He blesses you, He blesses you. Mark 12:41-44 speaks about a widow who gave, "...two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents (vs. 42b NIV). Jesus said that she gave more than anyone else before her on that day because everyone else gave out of their wealth. In other words, they didn't really have anything to lose when they gave, but this widow gave all she had which was the "...two small copper coins". And, in Luke 6:38, Jesus said, For if you give, you will get! Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use to give—large or small—will be used to measure what is given back to you” (LB). So, the question is, will you try God? Will you trust God? Finally, let us pray for you. Let's pray:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for another opportunity to share a Word and prayer with the one reading this today. Father, You know this one and You love them with an everlasting love. It is a love that never fails, a love that supersedes all human understanding, human reasoning, and human interpretation. It's a love the covers and forgives sin. It's a love that reaches to the highest mountain and flows to the lowest valley. It gives strength, everyday, and never loses its power (referenced from: The Blood by Andre Crouch). I pray today Father, that You let this one experience Your love, peace, and joy, in Jesus' name. The need for You is great today, Father. I pray You would meet the needs of this one today, in Jesus' name. Bring salvation near to this one today, in Jesus' name. Let Your power and presence cover this one today, in the name of Jesus. Bring about change of in the heart, mind, and soul of this one that only You can bring. I thank You now, Father, that today and in the coming days, lives will be changed and souls set free, in Jesus' name, Amen and Amen!
