9am Sundays

May 19-June 9 and July 1-Aug. 11

At our last Diocesan Convention, Bishop Scharf invited all the churches in the diocese to a journey of spiritual renewal and growth through a group called Forward Movement.

Using the book “Signs of Life: Nurturing Spiritual Growth in Your Church,” we will look at the challenges facing congregations, as well as a celebration of practices that contribute to spiritual vitality in congregations --- and in your personal life!

Join Father Jim as we enter the season of Pentecost and examine the next steps in our life at Church of Ascension! Where is the Holy Spirit leading?

Why Red?

White is the liturgical color for the the Day of Penecost,

when the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus' Disciples.

Also taking place until Pentecost is The Cross Project, a display of 39 handcrafted crosses made by parishioners. Look for them on the church windowsills.

Thank you for nourishing our spiritual life thru your art!
