The Green Transportation Exposition second iteration was by all measures a complete success! Thank you to all of you who participated, supported, and came out. That includes our Mayor Dane White, City Council members Mike Morasco and Joe Garcia as well as Congressman Scott Peters.
Nitta Gaddy and her team at the North County Mall headed up by Veeya Salvaggio, were great to work with again and we look forward to next year’s event.
Our exhibitors were diverse and brought an awareness of the changes plus a real experiential element to the show while the informational seminars running in parallel were robust and well received.
Overall, the event was one that Escondido should be proud of and a visual example of what your support of the Chamber delivers. We’re lasered focused on building a stronger and engaged business community unified and deserving of your support. Buying local really means something to us. Our goal is to create awareness and look for opportunities to get in front of the changes affecting everyone. Lead not follow.
I want to recognize the herculean work done by so many to help execute an event like this which has grown from nothing to now having successfully executed its second iteration.
People like: Chris Cochran, Ruth Kingcade, Gloriana Weiss, Joseph Faustino, Sara Wacker and her team, Bill Pierce with EV Info.net, and our Volunteers and Ambassadors. We also want to thank our list of supporting sponsors including help from our County Supervisor Jim Desmond, Congressman Scott Peters, our Mayor Dane White and the full support of City Council as well Jennifer Schoeneck and the City of Escondido.
We’re making a difference and I invite you to be a part of something that’s growing in our business community. Your support of the Chamber allows us to do this.
Cheers, JR
