Important Events Coming Up

Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night will take place on Thursday, September 2nd. To ensure a safe and productive evening, please read the information below carefully:

  • Elementary School (KG-5th Grade): If your child is in Elementary School, you will have the option to come to Curriculum Night in person OR watch a recorded video provided by your child's teacher. If you would like to attend, please note that you will have to sign up for a time slot using a SignUpGenius link your teacher will provide to you. We have limited capacity, so sign-up is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please lookout for this info in your child's weekly homeroom newsletter. 
  • Option #1 (In-Person Curriculum Night): Sept. 2, 5:00pm - 5:30pm
  • Option #2 (In-Person Curriculum Night): Sept. 2, 5:45pm - 6:15pm
  • Option #3 (Virtual Curriculum Night): Watch video provided by teacher

  • Middle School (6th-8th Grade): Middle School Curriculum Night will take place virtually via Zoom. Your child's homeroom teacher will send you a Zoom call invite to your virtual Curriculum Night- please lookout for this info in your child's weekly homeroom newsletter. 
  • Virtual Curriculum Night: Sept. 2, 6:30pm - 7:00pm

Amana Safety Protocols

  • All students and adults are required to wear masks in the building. Masks should be well fitted and cover the nose and mouth completely.

  • If possible, pack extra masks (at least 3) in your child's backpacks.

  • When possible, students will be asked to practice physical distancing (staying at least 3 feet apart).

  • We are continuing to ask families to complete the COVID-19 Reporting Form. It's available on the school website and down below.
COVID-19 Reporting for ALL Amana Families


ALL AMANA FAMILIES are expected to fill out this COVID-19 Reporting Form if your Amana student fits into one or more of these categories:

  • Has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 15 days
  • Currently waiting for the results of a test for COVID-19
  • Has been in close contact (within 6 feet for at least 15 mins) in the past 15 days with someone diagnosed with COVID-19

If your child meets any of the above criteria or is ill or unwell: DO NOT send your students to school until you have spoken with Amana’s clinician (Ms. Fowler).

Start with Hello 2021

Start with Hello is a program started by Sandy Hook Promise. Its goal is to empower students to fight social isolation.

Start with Hello gives students the tools and skills they need to reach out to peers suffering from chronic social isolation.

Counseling Resources

Professional Counseling Program:

  • We are excited to announce that Amana Academy received a grant from North Point Community Church to provide free and low-cost counseling to students through Sunshine Counseling in Alpharetta. If you would like for your child to be referred to this program, please complete the Professional Counseling Referral Request form below. For additional information or questions regarding this program, please contact Jaime Albright at jalbright@amanaacademy.org.  
2021-2022 Uniform Requirements

  • Students are required to wear uniforms. CLICK HERE to view our uniform requirements. If you are purchasing new uniforms, please make sure the NEW Amana Academy logo is embroidered on your child's uniform. We also ask that hoodies, jackets, and sweatshirts adhere to our uniform guidelines.

  • If students have not yet received their new uniforms, they should wear khaki or navy blue bottoms with green or navy blue collared shirts.
 
  • Teachers and Staff will continue to extend grace to students as new uniforms come in.

Donated School Supplies
