June's meeting of Immanuel's LMIM will be tomorrow Saturday, June 8th at 8:30 am in the Church Fellowship Hall.

This will be the last meeting before our summer break, when we take July and August off of our schedule.

Our next meeting after tomorrow will be the second Saturday in September. This week we will decide on a date for a trip to Greenville to see the Greenville Drive play baseball. If you would like to provide input on this decision, please join us tomorrow.

Also, tomorrow Saturday, June 8th, the Supper Club will meet at

5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Center. The meat is pork loin, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish and share.

10:15 a.m. Fellowship with refreshments

10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. Adult Sunday School Theme: "Faith and Belief, Then and Now."

*11 a.m. Council Meeting in the McCombs Meeting Room

Dining Divas will be heading to Abbeville this Thursday, June 13th to dine at The Village Grill at 6 p.m.

NEXT Sunday, June 16th, five counselors will arrive to lead a week of day camp for approximately 32 children from the Boys and Girls Club.

We are still seeking volunteers to help in a few areas. Will you prayerfully consider helping to bring the Christian

camp experience to this group of children in our community?

Ways you can help:

Hosting: two counselors overnight for the week. The counselors arrive Sunday and depart on Friday. Three counselors are staying with the Kinards.

Providing Dinner: Monday night, Tuesday night, or

Wednesday night.

Preparing AND Serving Lunch - Kim Leemhuis and

JoAn Crowder will lead the kitchen crew to prepare lunches Monday – Thursday. If you can help, please

WELCA - The Women of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenwood, SC are asking for assistance to support the local project of the South Carolina Women of the ELCA convention this year (2024).

Immanuel women will be collecting tangible gifts for Neighbors Together. This organization is a registered 501©3 nonprofit that provides food, clothing, medical care, sheltering, financial assistance and other vital services to our neighbors in the tri-county (Lowcountry SC) area. We will be sponsoring a food drive for specific foods and asking members of the congregation for donations. Please click HERE to see the foods we will be requesting.

Please help us serve those in need. Collection boxes are in the Welcome Center and upstairs in the Dot Wise Room. God's blessings come through others who care.
