The first through third-grade students took a field trip to the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum, an extension of the Smithsonian Institution known for its collection of aviation and space artifacts. This trip allowed the students to come face-to-face with iconic exhibits such as the Space Shuttle Discovery and both historical and modern aircraft.
The students got to watch "To Fly!" an IMAX film that showcased the history of aviation. This trip was a memorable one and served as a foundation for inspiring curiosity and appreciation for the advancements in air and space technology.
