Virginia Department of Elections - Absentee and Early Voting

HAVE YOU REGISTERED TO RECEIVE AN ABSENTEE BALLOT?

Look at the governor’s message here: Secure Your Vote Virginia

Consider requesting your absentee ballot now for the upcoming elections. Vote from the convenience of your home, by mail. Absentee voting is also helpful to the elderly, physically disabled, those who are on travel on election day, and for those who work and find it difficult to get to the polls on election day. When voting by mail the Vote by Mail Absentee Ballot Application Form can be submitted up to a year before the election, but no later than 5:00pm on the eleventh (11th) day before the election.  If you prefer to vote in person on election day, please do so, but do take advantage of the option of absentee voting.

Here is all the information you need to register to vote early: Virginia Department of Elections - Absentee and Early Voting

POLL VOLUNTEERS - POLL VOLUNTEERS - POLL VOLUNTEERS

The RPVB is gearing up to prepare for early voting in September and we need all republicans to volunteer to put up signs, knock on doors and spread the conservative message of all Virginia Beach Republican candidates for the General Assembly.

Republican volunteers are the backbone of our party and our success. Every republican should volunteer to do something, knock doors, make phone calls, write post cards, work the polls, and of course attend candidate rallies and make donations.

We also need volunteers to hand out our voter guides and candidate materials at the early voting sites over the full 45 day early voting period, and that takes many people.

Only through electing republicans into office can we effect sensible change in government and every volunteer and every vote counts! Do your part and Contact Betts Werbiskis at the Republican Party office today: 757-486-2382.

The RPVB is actively seeking volunteers to serve as election officials (Poll watchers) for the 2023 elections. This role is critical at the polling site and requires the volunteer to be there all day, but you are paid for your service for that day. Please consider becoming an election official by contacting Betts Werbiskis or Marvin Weniger at the RPVB office. Anyone at the office can point you in the right direction.

Helpful guidance from the Virginia Beach Registrar’s Office:

POLITICAL CAMPAIGN SIGNAGE: Campaign signage remains consistent from year to year in Virgnia beach-we have an election every year. However, sometimes we get it wrong.
