Because Lutherans pray: we want to join with God and with others in living out God's love. For Lutherans, prayer isn't only an individual discipline we practice daily on our own, but a communal one we return to weekly in Sunday assembly and smaller groups like Sweet Hour of Prayer on Thursdays in the Chapel (pictured). It is not a passive gesture, but an embodied one, engaged as a way of participating in the work God is already doing. We are better together.

VBS and DAY CAMP CANCELLED
Due to recent diagnoses of COVID on our campus, and our commitment to keeping youth, volunteers, and staff safe, leaders of Emanuel's, Spirit of Joy, and First Presbyterian have prayerfully decided to
cancel VBS & Day Camp next week.
Thank you to everyone who was prepared to pitch in for the week. We sincerely hope that we can enjoy VBS together next summer.
Please join us Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
Online video live streaming will resume later in the summer.
- Please note that the Emanuel's Executive Council and Pastors are monitoring rising Covid numbers and protocols as they emerge. Vaccinated people may still choose to wear masks and social distance. Unvaccinated people should be masked and practice social distancing on the church campus as per current guidelines. We encourage everyone to take precautions for optimum health and well being.

The Fischer Family and Kosovo Hope
Sunday, July 18, 2021
9am Coffee and Conversation about Kosovo Hope in the Family Life Center
10:30am Raelene and Adam provide sermon during worship
Adam and Raelene Fischer, and family, will be joining us for a Sunday morning learning opportunity and worship on Sunday, July 18th! The Fischer’s, the grandson family to our very own Ervin "Fish" Fischer, lead and guide the overseas missionary program Kosovo Hope. Their work of teaching, ministering, and caring for the communities of Kosovo entrusted to their care provides incredible ways children and families, in an area of the world that is predominately Muslim, to hear the message of love and hope found in Jesus Christ. To hear more about their ministry, ways we can be more involved, and learn more about the country of Kosovo, join us in the Family Life Center at 9am. The Fischer’s will also join us for worship, bringing our sermon for the day.
