Hello Patten Free,

National Volunteer Week was April 21-27. To celebrate our many invaluable volunteers, we hosted a volunteer tea in our beautiful Reading Room. Volunteers were treated to tea, treats, and a talk on the history of tea!

This tea also honored our Volunteer of the Year, Bill Gray. Bill has been a PFL volunteer for 14 years. Bill does everything from building furniture to packing boxes of books to carpentry. He is always willing to help out wherever he is needed, and as one PFL staff member put it, "If you have a question, Bill can probably answer it."

Thank you to Bill and all of our many PFL volunteers! If you are interested in joining their esteemed ranks, you can learn more and fill out an application here.
