Looking for a way to introduce newcomers to the Divine Service, lead a class or Bible study on Lutheran worship, or discover the biblical basis for what you do every Sunday morning? The Lutheran Witness has released a new resource, “The Divine Service: A Guide,” to help with all of that and more. Adapted from our January 2024 print issue, this booklet gives an overview of the theology of Lutheran worship and walks through the Divine Service from beginning to end. Congregations, teachers and individuals are welcome to print and use this resource for any educational or catechetical purpose. Download the Guide HERE

Lutheran Church Extension Fund

If you're looking to support ministry while earning interest, consider the Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF).

We offer excellent investment products that provide a good return. The investments are used to provide affordable loans to LCMS congregations, schools, church workers, and organizations. Our tagline is "Lutherans helping Lutherans," and we take pride in that. Currently, we have some great rates, such as a 5% term note for 18 months. See the CURRENT RATE SHEET.

To learn more about all of our investment opportunities, contact Lisa Hall, Vice President of LCEF for the Ohio District LCMS at lisa.hall@lcef.org or 216-570-7077.
