The Rev. John Suguitan, Pastor of Prince of Peace-Cincinnati, was called to his eternal rest on July 29, 2024. His funeral service took place on Saturday, August 3, 2024. You can read his obituary HERE.  Please keep the Suguitan family in your prayers.

Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2141 Fifth Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio is looking for a Church Administrative Assistant to work Monday-Friday from 2:00-6:00 PM. In addition to working with the pastor to complete church related items, this person will also monitor the door as parents come to pick up their children from the school's after-school care program. Chad Bird, Scholar in Residence with 1517, will be speaking at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lexington, KY (LCMS) on September 13 & 14, 2024. Chad has served as a pastor, professor, and guest lecturer in Old Testament theology and Hebrew. He holds master’s degrees from Concordia Theological Seminary and Hebrew Union College. Chad is the author of many books, his most recent: "Limping with God: Jacob and the Old Testament Guide to Messy Discipleship".
