Father of our protinica Vera Vlajkovic, Ljubisa “Lou” Dragin, at age 90 while seeking to go “home” in his final few months, arrived at his permanent resting place on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Ljubisa was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia on May 3, 1933 to Kosanka Matic, a loving mother and well-respected elementary school teacher, and to Veselin Dragin, a singer for Radio Beograd and Prvo Beogradsko Pevacko Drustvo, and a deacon of the Serbian Orthodox Church serving at the St. Andrew Chapel in the Royal Palace in Dedinje...

We invite our young parishioners, ages 5 to 17, to join a one-day summer camp to include a variety of fun activities and two meals.

A $20 fee will help to cover some costs and can be processed via our website ​​​​https://stsavaboston.org/donate or by mailing a check to the church address (41 Alewife Brook Parkway, Cambridge, MA 02140). Please write "summer camp" on the memo line.

7th Sunday after Pentecost

When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.” But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country. As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!” But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.” Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

А кад је Исус одлазио оданде, за Њим иђаху два слепца вичући и говорећи: Помилуј нас, сине Давидов! А кад дође у кућу, приступише к Њему слепци, и рече им Исус: Верујете ли да могу то учинити? А они Му рекоше: Да Господе. Тада дохвати се очију њихових говорећи: По вери вашој нека вам буде. И отворише им се очи. И запрети им Исус говорећи: Гледајте да нико не дозна. А они изишавши разгласише Га по свој земљи оној. Кад они пак изиђоше, гле, доведоше к Њему човека немог и бесног. И пошто изгна ђавола, проговори неми. И дивљаше се народ говорећи: Никада се тога није видело у Израиљу. А фарисеји говораху: Помоћу кнеза ђаволског изгони ђаволе. И прохођаше Исус по свим градовима и селима учећи по зборницама њиховим и проповедајући јеванђеље о царству, и исцељујући сваку болест и сваку немоћ по људима.
