The Primary Election is on August 20, 2024. If you would like to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot, you must do so by August 8, 2024. Please note, all Vote-By-Mail ballots must be received, not postmarked, by 7 p.m. on August 20, 2024, to be counted in the Primary Election.
If you prefer to vote in person, you may cast your vote during Early Voting from August 10 through August 18, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., or on Election Day, August 20, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Save the Date: Secure Shredding Event | |
The City’s solid waste, recycling, and household hazardous waste contractor, Coastal Waste & Recycling, has contracted with The Red Shredder to provide a FREE secure and confidential shredding service on August 24, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the City Hall parking lot (2020 Wilton Drive).
Please note- you must be a Wilton Manors resident or business owner, and proof of residency or a business tax receipt is required.

Scholarship Opportunity for Island City Students | |
The Kiwanis Club of Wilton Manors is sponsoring five scholarships for students attending Broward College. Scholarships will be awarded in the following categories, and Wilton Manors residents will be prioritized in the selection process:
- Safety Officers/Police
- Nursing
- Paramedics/EMS
- Any major
- Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) member
All applications must be received by October 1, 2024, to be considered for a Spring semester scholarship.
The application period for additional scholarships will reopen in 2025.

"Alice Rocks Wonderland" by Atlantic Coast Theatre

It's almost time to venture down the rabbit hole with the Atlantic Coast Theatre on July 24, 2024, at 4 p.m. at the Richard C. Sullivan Public Library! In this exciting rock musical adaptation of Lewis Carroll's masterpiece "Alice in Wonderland," attendees will rock along with lively characters from the book including Alice, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the Prince Of Hearts.

Under the Sea Build-A-Bear Workshop
August 7, 2024, at 4 p.m.
The Richard C. Sullivan Public Library is hosting a special under-the-sea adventure for your little ones on August 7, 2024, at 4 p.m. where they'll hear a story and then hand-stuff their own plush sea animal, place a Wish Star inside, and take it home. A limited number of plush animals are available, so please register in advance by calling the library at (954) 390-2195.

Budget Workshop #2 and Special City Commission Meeting
July 24, 2024, starting at 6 p.m.
The second Budget Workshop will be held in-person on July 24, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall (2020 Wilton Drive). The Special City Commission Meeting to adopt the tentative millage rate, budget, and preliminary special assessment rates will begin at 7 p.m. immediately following the Budget Workshop.
If you are unable to attend and would like to submit a public comment, email it to publiccomment@wiltonmanors.com prior to the start of the meeting. Please include your name and address in the email. Public comments received by 6 p.m., prior to the start of the meeting, will be delivered to the Commission before the meeting and be part of the public record.

Living with Urban Coyotes and Foxes Public Meeting

In partnership with the Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC) and Broward County Parks and Recreation, the City is hosting a public meeting to address living with urban coyotes and foxes on July 30, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of experts.
