From Your Chamber Director

Have you checked out the new directory on the Chamber website yet?

Shout out to Mike Swope for creating the format and layout! It's visually appealing and it's easy to update. So, take a look at your listing and send me any pictures you would like to add as well as any information to change/update.https://www.mulvanechamber.com/membership-directory/

This week we've got Coffee Talk on Tuesday at 9 am. The Chamber will also be at the Kansas State Fair on Thursday from 9 - 1 pm working with the South Central Kansas Tourism booth.

Don't forget to sign up for Safe Treat Night if you plan to attend or donate candy. We always need extra candy & it's so appreciated!

The Mulvane Optimist Club is very excited to invite everyone to come and have a great time! This is a big event! We had over 700 attendees this spring! You will want to come see what all the fuss is about!

At an Optimist Club Steak Feed you will be able to choose between two 16 ounce T-Bones or one 32 ounce sirloin and pair it with baked beans, baked potatoes, and French bread. Drinks include water, pop as well as beer. Don't forget to bring your ID.

Don't forget; You will need to bring your own platter (big enough to hold all the food), your own silverware, and a cup.

This event is limited those that are 12 and older.

Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door.

Steak Feed hours will be from 6pm until 9pm, although the gates will open at 4 for those that want to find a good spot to park.

The Mulvane Optimist Club uses the proceeds of these events to help take care of the youths in Mulvane. Scholarships are provided to students, money is donated to various programs, and there are free events planned at the parks and swimming pool.
