The Mulvane City Council has approved Resolution No. 2023-3 which authorizes a Special Event Area on Saturday, August 26 from Noon to Midnight.

During the specified period of time on Saturday, alcohol and beer may be purchased through licensed sellers and consumed on any licensed premise which includes the public street, sidewalk and other designated public property of the Special Event Area (basically the 100 & 200 Blocks of West Main-map attached as Exhibit A). The intent of the Special Event Area is to provide an outlet for Mulvane businesses to generate additional business.
