IGNITE FOR ASP
ASP invites you to ignite your grill in support of ASP’s efforts to provide warm, safe, and secure housing for the people of the Appalachia region. ASP is teaming up with a local butcher shop, Country Village Meats, to offer the finest in fresh cut steaks & chops, marinated meats, smoked bacon, beef jerky, meat sticks, and more.

This year by shopping at the new CVM Geneva location you’ll raise funds for ASP. Fifteen percent from your food products purchased at the Geneva store during the week of May 16-May 21 will fund ASP. Just specify “this order is for UMCG ASP” at checkout. GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP DATE AND TIME CHANGE
When the funeral is over, loved ones have gone home, dishes are returned, where does grief go? Where can we turn, and who understands?
In the past two years we've not been able to gather to support one another - now we can.
UMCG invites you to three sessions to help you in your grief journey. We will meet on May 12, 19 & 26 at 2:00pm in the Parlor. These meetings will last approximately 1.5 hours and, although everyone's grief journey is very authentic, we will try to cover many things that seem to be common.
For additional information, please call Linda Tamlyn at 630-406-6907 or Mary Gay McKinney at 805-508-2055.
OUR SWEDISH DAYS BOOTH IS BACK - SAVE THE DATES!
Swedish Days in Geneva is returning this year, AND the United Methodist Church of Geneva's Swedish Days booth is back again! We are asking everyone in our church to consider volunteering for one or more shifts at our booth. Watch for more information and save the dates of June 22-June 26. For more information please contact: Steve Lillie sandnlillie@gmail.com,  630-452-6736; Lorne Tweed tweed.lorne@gmail.com, 908-723-2617; Jim McConnell mcjamesc@aol.com, 630-715-3480.

GRATITUDE
Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for the care package! Picking it up from the mail room was such an awesome surprise, and the snacks were delicious and much appreciated. I can’t wait to be back for the summer and see everyone in person.

Thank you,
Evan Horvath
Good morning everyone,

I wanted to write to thank you for the wonderful care package! It was such a sweet surprise to receive, and the goodies inside are appreciated so much. I'm currently eating popcorn for breakfast (don't mention that to my parents)! I miss UMCG very much, and this was such a great reminder of what I'll be coming home to in a couple of weeks.

Thank you again! Have a great week.
Eleanor Horvath
Dear United Methodist Church of Geneva,

Thank you for livestreaming your service today. I really appreciated being able to see my niece get baptized! My husband livestreams our church service here in California and I know the audiovisual people don't always get the appreciation they deserve. So, a special shout out to your technical staff and thanks again for offering this viewing option.

Sincerely,
Amy Tcheng
(sister of Todd Fox)
