EARTH DAY SUNDAY WORSHIP, APRIL 24 AT 9:00 AM
From the trees to the bees to rivers and the seas God gives us a wondrous home to live in! We will celebrate this gift of God entrusted to us on Sunday, April 24 in our 9am worship. Our music will help us to celebrate our earth home, with hymns and a special choral anthem with visuals. Our children's sermon will help us think about lessons learned "when we all stopped" for the pandemic and the healing that began for our earth and its plants and creatures then. Our sermon will help us to think about ways we can say yes to being co-creators, care-takers and collaborators with God and Jesus to help God's kingdom plans for the earth and all who live here to flourish.
After worship, check out Fellowship Hall for ideas to live more lightly in our world, sign up to help plant a garden for our neighbors at Hesed House in Aurora, learn about native and pollinator plant sales coming up, and more! There will be some sustainable and plantable gifts for folks too!
~Pastor Lisa Telomen
