Announcing the Summer 2024 Worship Schedule

Sunday's Worship Services

"Pentecost Prequel: The Promise of Power"

Acts 1:1-11

In the opening of the Acts of the Apostles, we encounter the prequel to Pentecost. The events preceding Pentecost included a tremendous promise by Jesus himself. Pastor Kellen will unpack Jesus’ promise and its impact for your life. Discover the power that the Holy Spirit continues to provide to Christ-followers.

Symbols of the Liturgical Season

We invite you to wear red on Pentecost Sunday to remind us of the fire of the Spirit. Additionally, the sanctuary will be decorated in red, symbolizing the tongues of flame (and by extension, the Holy Spirit) that appeared above those who were assembled on the original Pentecost (Acts 2:3). The doves on the church doors and in the sanctuary symbolize the Holy Spirit, whose presence was made available to all believers through Jesus Christ at Pentecost.

They will be dismissed to the Ministry Center, where we will have a bounce house, snacks and a special gift for each child to take home! Please bring a pair of socks for the bounce house. Normal Sunday School drop-off procedures will take place. All children can be picked up in the Ministry Center following the service. For more information, contact  Stacey Chvatal.

Last Call for VBS Volunteers Needed June 10-14!

We have about 20 children currently on the waitlist for VBS. In order to get all children off of the list and into VBS, we are in need of four 5-day volunteers. We provide childcare for children of volunteers who are too young to participate. Training sessions will be available in the upcoming weeks to go over your role in detail and answer any questions that you may have. Not only will volunteering allow 20 kids to have the best week ever at church, but you will also get the opportunity to grow in your faith and have the best week ever at church! Email Stacey Chvatal if you are interested. Thank you for your consideration.
