If you are a church member and your contact information has recently changed or you prefer not to have your information printed in the directory, please get in touch with Yuli Mercado before Friday, May 31. By not requesting to omit your information from the directory by May 31 you are agreeing to its inclusion and distribution. Once finalized, a digital copy of the Member Directory will be shared with church members. Printed copies will also be available upon request at the church office for members only.

Naples UCC is a WISE for Mental Health church which means that we’re committed to being Welcoming, Inclusive, Supportive, and Engaged with people who have mental health concerns, and their families. Stop by the Gathering Place after worship to meet a few of the members of the WISE ministry and to learn more about what they do and how you can get involved. Their next meeting is on Thursday, September 5 at 10 a.m., all are welcome!

A group of 10 people from Naples UCC traveled to Guatemala in early April to do service work alongside our mission partner, People for Guatemala. Join them for a brief presentation of their experience, and to learn more about the important work of People for Guatemala. We will also discuss plans for a future trip. Light bites will be served. The Bargain Box will be holding a focused donation drive once a month. We are overjoyed by the overwhelming success of our focused drive last month. Thank you for your participation and generosity. This month it will be on Sunday and we are looking for gently used costume jewelry. A table will be set up under the portico and donations should be dropped off before and after service. Walk and Wonder: Final Walk for the Season | |

Join members and friends for fellowship, prayer and walking in nature. The Walk and Wonder group eagerly welcomes family members, friends and especially newcomers to the NUCC community. On Wednesday, May 22, enjoy the final walk for the 2023-24 season along the Pelican Bay Berm beginning at the Naples Grande to the Butterfly Garden near the Commons Tram station. If time allows, we will walk the boardwalk down to South beach. Nursery childcare for infants through 4 years old is available each Sunday morning now beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Nelson Hall room 203 (the building across the Gathering Place). Please sign in with our nursery staff. Our current space located next to the sanctuary is still available to you as a Wiggle Room. Feel free to utilize that space if you wish to stay with your child. | |

Grace Place Food Pantry Distribution | |
Today at noon
Join NUCC volunteers from 12:00-2:30 p.m. to help at the Grace Place Food Pantry. Volunteers help set up and distribute canned and fresh food to the clients. You may sign up in the Gathering Place or call the church office. Grace Place currently serves 300 families weekly. Grace Place Backpack Drive | |
The current school year is not over but already Grace Place for Children & Families is planning for the 2024-25 school year. NUCC will once again be collecting filled backpacks for Primary Grades (K-2). A list of the needed supplies can be found below. Filled backpacks can be dropped off at church starting Sunday, May 12. There will also be a box in the narthex for drop-off during the week. The deadline for donations is Friday, July 12. Their “Back to School Bash” is scheduled for Saturday, July 20 this year. Thank you for helping us support the children of Collier County! | |
