A Message from the Heart

"The official celebration of Speech and Hearing;

Comes but once per year;

Yet we can find ways to commemorate,

To fill the month with cheer!

Whether it's mealtime, or audios,

Or social groups who work on goals;

We think of our Speech Therapists, and consider their many roles.

So in May, we think Speech, Language and Hearing,

As the celebrations sweep the nation;

Take a moment and give a shout,

To the women of the Department of Communication!"

Constance Allen, from Misericordia's Communication Therapy Department
