CURRENT PARTICIPANTS: UPCOMING 401K AUTOMATIC INCREASE REMINDER

Per the 401k Plan’s provisions, on July 1 of each year Misericordia will increase the Automatic Salary Reduction Contribution by 1% for those who have not opted out of this plan provision. This automatic salary reduction will take place until the plan year in which your contribution equals 10%, unless you wish to increase the amount beyond 10%. For those who have previously opted out of the automatic increase and would like to turn it back “ON”, follow the steps below. Please note: All changes to your salary reduction contribution need to take place through Correll Co’s online portal at www.correllco.com by June 30.

To verify if you are registered for the Automatic Increase, please login to your Correll Co account at www.correllco.com.

Select “Manage”, “Manage Investments”, then select “Change Contribution”
If auto increase is ON and you would like to turn it OFF, select “Edit Pre-Tax”, select “Change Contributions” and slide the radio button to “OFF”. Continue to follow the prompts until complete.
If auto increase is OFF and you would like to turn it ON, select “Edit Pre-Tax”, select “Change Contributions” and slide the radio button to “ON”. Continue to follow the prompts until complete.

UPCOMING NASCAR STREET CLOSURES

The NASCAR Chicago Street Race will take place on July 6–7, 2024. In preparation for the event, street closures will begin on June 10. Please be mindful of the impacts on traffic and plan your route accordingly. Check here to view the street closures, dates, and times on the day of and before the event, and please post them in your areas.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING ENDS JUNE 10

The Health & Safety launched on April 29. Please check your Misericordia email address for the link to complete the training. This virtual training is mandatory for all Misericordia employees and must be completed by June 10. It includes vital information on topics such as lifting and infection control!

As previously reported, the Virtual Training Expo has a new look this year. Training will be split into three parts throughout the year. The Health & Safety training is the first part of the Expo series.

RETIREMENT PLANNING SEMINAR

The Human Resources Department is happy to announce an upcoming Retirement Planning Seminar at Misericordia. If you are interested in learning more about retirement planning and would like more information to help you prepare, this is a seminar that you may want to attend. There are two available session times:

FLOATING HOLIDAY MUST BE USED BY JUNE 30

This is a reminder that the Floating Holiday must be scheduled/used on or before June 30, 2024. It will not carry over after this date.

The hours cannot be split into partial hours and the total 8 hours must be used. Father's Day (June 16, the last remaining block-out date) is also excluded from being a floating holiday. Click here to see the full list.

The Resident Art Walk

Interested in creating some art this summer? Please click the flyer for information about the 2024 Misericordia Art Walk!

The Art Walk is open to all residents and is intended to create artistic opportunities led by resident's ideas. In doing so, we hope to promote a deeper connection throughout campus; one of our core values! The artwork will be installed and on display during the week of August 15-22.
