The Ascension of our Lord

and Mother's Day

This Sunday in worship, we will recall the ascension of Jesus as told in Acts 1. We will also reflect on those who gathered to continue in prayer after he had departed, awaiting God's empowering Spirit. The disciples named there include Mary, the mother of Jesus! What a tribute to her faithfulness and the ideal for mothers everywhere who are loyal to Jesus as well as to their children.

In honor of Mother's Day, our service on Sunday will include two children's choirs. All women will receive flowers as a special gift as well. Come and join in as we celebrate and appreciate all who wait upon the Lord and set an example of faith, and especially those who nurture us as mothers. All are welcome and all are wanted among us! Classes 9:00 AM, worship 10:30 AM.

Live Stream Worship

Our worship services are available via YouTube for those who wish to join that way. Click the link above shortly before the service begin to join in 10:30 AM on Sunday or anytime afterward. DVD copies of the services are also available.
