Pentecost:

The Holy Spirit Poured Out

This Sunday in worship, we will recall the coming of the Holy Spirit as told in Acts 2, the miracles of speech and hearing that followed, and the words Peter gave to explain what had happened. This is a great holiday for the church, so please be present to celebrate together! Wear red if you wish to be especially festive. All are welcome and all are wanted among us! Classes 9:00 AM, worship 10:30 AM.

Live Stream Worship

Our worship services are available via YouTube for those who wish to join that way. Click the link above shortly before the service begin to join in 10:30 AM on Sunday or anytime afterward. DVD copies of the services are also available.

Sunday, May 19th - FOOD DRIVE COLLECTION

Our Food Pantry continues to serve people needing food. We have seen a big increase in recent weeks. If you would like to donate to our pantry we can always use gift cards to the local grocery stores, or cash. I know some people like to give food items, so here is a list of items we can always use. Bring them to worship and our children will collect them within the service.

•Saltines, •Bread, •Canned Chicken •Pancake Mix & Syrup

•Cooking Oil •Fruit Juice •Oranges •Carrots •Canned Ravioli •4 lb Sugar

•Tiolet Paper •Paper Towels •Bars of soap

Thank you to all who donate and those faithful volunteers who help in the Pantry whenever we are open. ~ Mary Esther Anderson

We occasionally send immediate prayer requests to those who have opted in to receive the prayer chain and are committed to praying for each concern as they come. Children's Ministry Schedule

Amendment to the Congregational Structure

The amendment to include a description of the Child Development Centers Ministry to our Constitutional Structure was first shared at the Congregational Forum May 5th. That was the first reading, we're required by our Constitution to have two readings of any amendment to the Congregational Structure. November 3rd at the Congregational Forum we will have the second reading and vote on the inclusion of this document to our Congregational Structure.

The reason this is being changed/added is that all of the Ministry Teams that report to the Leadership Team have a description and outline of the work that is to be done by the ministry team. The Child Development Center was listed as a Ministry Team but never had an outline of the work to be done.

This change from using the terminology of Child Development Center Board to the Child Development Center Ministry Team also aligns with the other Ministry Teams.

Please click on button to see the change we shared at the Congregational Forum.
