Share in the Adventures of Alice in Wonderland
This year the St. Francis DeSales High School's Performing Arts department will be presenting Lewis Carroll’s iconic classic Alice in Wonderland adapted by Anne Coulter Martens. The play is the story of a young girl, Alice, (played by freshman Dera Hicks-Prieto) who falls down a rabbit hole and finds all sorts of interesting adventures await her in the land of wonder! It is a more delightful place for the audience than it is for Alice, who is trying desperately to get back home. She tries to get help from the Mad Hatter (sophomore Ava Manfresca), the March Hare (sophomore Emma Minser) and from the very nice Cheshire Cat (sophomore Ben Reither), along with a wide cast of other interesting favorites. Come and join the tea party on Saturday, October 21 at 7pm and/or Sunday, October 22 at 3pm. Tickets will be available on the school's website -- www.sfdstallions.org -- beginning Friday, October 13. All seats are reserved. Adult tickets are $10, and student tickets are $5. Come and share in the adventures of Alice in Wonderland.

God, Father of all people, you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, may we recognize the unity of all the baptized. Do not allow us to be distracted by the superficial distinctions drawn by the world. May we instead hear you call us all your mother and brothers and sisters. We are one in your Body. Help us to live as one. Amen. | | | | |
