Swift K12 - School Notification System

We are using a school notification system called SwiftK12. To guarantee the notification system is used efficiently, we are asking our families to provide, at a minimum, one point of contact, preferably a text enabled device, to receive any urgent communications from SFD. SwiftK12 allows our school to send messages using phone, email and SMS text messaging.

Please note: this service will be a primary source to communicate school closings as schools in the Diocese of Columbus will not be included on news outlets moving forward.

A message with detailed directions on how to ensure you are signed up to receive messages via the Swift K12 system was sent last week. Click here to view the message.

As the day unfolds and Giving Tuesday continues, thank you to all who have generously made a gift so far. For those who have not had a chance to participate yet, there's still time to support the students of St. Francis DeSales High School. Let's keep the spirit of giving alive today, and through December 13th!

Ten devoted DeSales families have joined forces for a special matching gift initiative to keep the giving going beyond Giving Tuesday. They've pledged to match the first $75,000 contributed by our community until December 13. Another Stallion alum will generously match this amount too! This means every donation made during this period will be tripled, amplifying its impact on our shared goals.

Be The Light of DeSales by contributing today.

Senior Portrait Orders -- Turn in Tomorrow

Seniors who are purchasing pictures from HR Imaging are asked to turn in their order forms to the main office before school tomorrow, Wednesday, November 29. Our HR Imaging representative is stopping by the school to pick up order forms tomorrow. Note: Families are still able to purchase senior pictures online via the HR Imaging website.

Hear from some of our students on what they are looking forward to the most at the upcoming Father/Daughter Dance (and some of the dance moves they don't want to see their dads doing!).

SENIORS: send three pictures you'd like to use in the video shown at the dance to Jen Crabtree (mjcrabtree1@att.net) or Heather Van Syckle (heather.vansyckle1@gmail.com).

We'd like to have as many people attend the dance as possible. If you would like to discuss assistance purchasing tickets, please contact our Mother's Club at mothersclub@desales.co.

Nurse's Notes

2023-2024 Sick Policy

Sick children often expose other students and school staff members to illnesses and germs. These illnesses are disruptive to the educational process and to other children and their families. Students who are ill should be kept home to help control the spread of germs. Please follow the guidelines linked here to help keep our school safe and healthy.

Spiritual Reflection

Spirit of Love, inspire us to give all we are and all we have to the building of your kingdom. Help us to realize that any abundance we have is not for our own good, but for the good of others. May we learn to enter into the spirit of the widow who gave her all so that others might benefit, even in her poverty. Divest us of anything that might slow us in the building of those places where you live and reign. Amen.
