HIGH SCHOOL; GRADES 9-12
Career Fair ~ Grade 10
March 28th

Tuesday March 28 FRCS sophomores participated in the annual 10th Grade Career Fair.   Our students were prepared with their resumes, their job applications, they were dressed professionally, and each student participated in two separate interview experiences.

Each student gained valuable feedback from the career experts and our students who were "hired" attended a luncheon after. It is really important to note that even if your child was not hired it is really the journey and not the destination. Most of our grade 10 class has not yet engaged in their first job yet, or been to a college interview, and this experience has provided students with a real experience and opportunity to apply their skills learned from Achievement Teams around their Career Development Skills. The BIG things in life do not happen every day however the little things all add up, and you never know when your child will put it all together for a BIG accomplishment.

We were impressed with the class of 2019, they were prepared, organized, and many of our career experts truly had a difficult challenge in choosing a student candidate to hire for their "Mock job". In fact, a few employers stated there was less than a point difference between the winner and the other students.  A HUGE round of applause for our Class of 2019 for their outstanding effort and gains in their career development skills and a sincere t hank you to all of the Career Fair volunteers and participants for your help in making this an enormously successful event.
