Adult Sunday School will meet on May 21st beginning at 11:15 a.m.  The topic of discussion will be "Chariots of Fire".  There will be no Adult Sunday School on May 14th.

The Parking Lot (rear lot off College) is closed  for renovation of the Parking Lot.  

 

On Sunday's please park in the front lot off Patterson, the small lot beside the rectory, the VSU Admissions Office Lot (on the other side of the Rectory), or in the VSU Music Annex Lot (located on the other side of the Methodist Wesley House).  

 

During the week, please park in the front lot off Patterson St.

HEP Party (Happy Episcopalian People Party) - will begin at 6PM on Friday June 2 at the Yarbrough's barn (4700 Skipper Bridge Rd., Hahira) - drinks will be provided, please bring an hors d'oeuvre to share.

Christ Episcopal Preschool will be having a summer camp June 12-16, June 19-23 and June 26-30 for ages 1-5. Please see Millie for more information. 

EYC -  May 14th is Youth Sunday! The deadline to sign up for the high school mission trip is Sunday, May 14th. 

On Saturday, May 20th, we will have an EYC pool party at Mike and Amber Tanner's house from 4-7 pm. 

Reminder: EYC meets Wednesday nights at 6:45 pm-8:15 pm.

We need fruit cups for Lunch Bunch.  Please consider picking up a six pack of fruit cups when you do your family grocery shopping.  The children love the fruit and the Lunch Bunch volunteers appreciate it. 

Big news to report: the house we are building in the Dominican Republic is now FULLY FUNDED! 

Thanks to one large and many small donations in the past week, we now have enough funds on hand to complete the house so that Leidy's family can begin to live in it sometime in June. The concrete block walls have been erected, and the remaining steps are to dig the septic pit, install the wooden roof beams and metal roofing sheets, run the electrical and plumbing tubing, fill the sub-floor with dirt and concrete rubble and then pour a smooth concrete floor on top of that, install the doors and windows, install the electrical wires and plumbing pipes -- and that's it. Some of this remaining work will be done by villagers in the next month, and our missioners will work on the rest while we are there. We arrive on June 12 -- one month from today. Thanks so much to everyone on the Home Team who made it possible for this house construction project to move along so quickly and so smoothly.
