Pet of The Week-Barnabas (Barney)!
Hi there, I'm Barnabas, but my friends call me Barney.
I don't really care what you call me as long as you've got a treat in your hand. I hecking love food! My last family was unable to take care of me and my high energy so they brought me here to the shelter.
It was so very scary at first, but I quickly learned that everyone here is really nice and almost always keep cookies in their pockets.
I am a little unsure of other dogs right now and would need a very slow introduction to any new dog friends. I've gotten to see a few cats in my time here, but I don't know quite how I feel about living with one, they are strange little creatures.
I did live in a home with children so I'm used to those strange little creatures, but I get so excited I may knock them over.
