Serve with Bread & Blessings

Today: We will be cooking, preparing, and serving lunch at First UMC Charlottesville today from 10am to 1pm. No cooking experience needed – just a desire to serve others of Christ’s family. Call Bill Peters (434-825-7044) for additional information.

On Sunday, September 15 we will preparesandwich lunches in the Gathering Space after church service. All ages are invited to help. Contact Bill Peters for additional information or to volunteer.

Church Yard Sale This Saturday

The Church yard sale will be held Saturday, September 7th from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Please bring clean, useable items that you wish to donate to the Gathering Place between 5 and 7 p.m. on Monday 9/2 thru Thursday 9/5. We do not accept clothing, mattresses, or cathode ray TVs. Also, we cannot accept child car seats, pack-and-plays, or similar items. If you have larger items, we will try to arrange pickup. If you have questions, or wish to volunteer, contact Richard Hawks by text or phone at (434) 326-6682.

Bake Sale Items Needed

The Cunningham Women are having a bake sale on Saturday, September 7th from 8 am - 1 pm during the UMM's Yard Sale. We need you your help to make this sale a success! Please make your favorite recipes - cakes, pies, candies, brownies, cookies & sweet snacks. Package & price the items for sale. Bring the treats to the Gathering Place on Fri., Sept. 6th between 5 pm - 7 pm or Saturday, Sept. 7th by 8 am. Contact Kitti Mann at (540) 455-3777 with any

Cunningham Cares About Hunger

The 2nd Sunday of each month is our Communion Sunday. We encourage you to bring food donations on the 2nd Sunday to help feed our Fluvanna neighbors. Millie Davis delivers the donations each month to the Fluvanna Food Pantry.

This month we're having a special food drive to help restock the shelves of the Food Pantry. September 8th will be Fruits and Vegetables Sunday and September 15th will be Proteins and Sides Sunday. Bring your donations to church both Sundays & place them in the barrel located in the Vestibule. We will be glad to accept monetary donations as well.

Thank you for supporting this important ministry!

All Blessings Flow Fundraiser

On Saturday, September 14th, Our Lady of Peace will be hosting Bluegrass & BBQ, a fundraiser for All Blessings Flow. Lunch will be from 1 - 3 pm with live music performed by the Tara Miller Band. Please click here for the event flyer with additional information.

Pie Auction & Food Drive

Let's support our sister church, Grace & Glory Lutheran Church at their Pie Auction on Saturday, September 14th. Volunteer to bake a pie or volunteer to help out during the auction. Cunningham’s Homecoming Celebration will be September 22. We will worship at the special time of 11am with the Rev. Tom Frost preaching. Following worship we will gather for our Homecoming Luncheon.
