Bread & Blessings

Volunteers Needed!

We will be cooking today at First UMC from 10 am - 1 pm. On Sunday, August 18 we will be making sandwich lunches after church. We will be serving on Monday, August 19th at First UMC from 10 am - 1 pm. Contact Bill Peters or Kitti Mann to volunteer.

Men's Group Meeting

We will meet on Tuesday, August 6th at 6:30pm in the Gathering Place. Dinner will be provided. Please join us for fellowship, discussion, and planning for this year's Men's Yard Sale.

The Men's Group will also be collecting donations for the Yard Sale over the next few weeks. This includes household items, furniture, tools, and a lot more. Donations and earnings will support the Men's group mission to encourage local youth and community. Please contact Benjamin Smith for more information.

Blessing of the Backpacks

Attention students, teachers, and school staff of all ages: Sunday, August 11 you are encouraged to bring your backpack, laptop, or any "back-to-school" item to worship as we say a special blessing over you and lift you up in prayer.

Rise Against Hunger Packing Event

Join Pastor Amy and others from local United Methodist Churches to pack meals for Rise Against Hunger on Saturday, August 24 at Scottsville UMC. The event takes place between 10am-2:30pm. Volunteers must register. Click here to register.
