As Teacher Appreciation Week draws to a close, on behalf of all faculty and staff we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of you for your incredible support. Throughout this week, your kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness have truly shone through. From the heartfelt notes and tokens of appreciation, to the delicious treats and gestures of thanks, each gesture has been a reminder of the incredible community we are blessed with at Our Lady of Grace. Your unwavering dedication to Our Lady of Grace School and Parish community does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

This week, we had a Legacy Mass to celebrate 75 Years of Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. We awarded the Sister Catherine McAuley Legacy Award to the Sisters of Mercy, who opened OLG School in 1949 with eight classrooms and 115 students. We also awarded the Father Forrey Legacy Award to Father Louis Forrey who had the vision to build the K-8 school. As we close out our 75th year, we are hoping to raise $75,000 for the OLG Annual School Fund to maintain excellence in our school for years to come. Thank you to so many who have contributed!

Please keep our 2nd graders in prayer this weekend as they will be celebrating their first Communion. They have been diligently preparing their hearts and minds for this blessed sacrament.

Join the OLG Band

Saturday, May 18

For students entering 4th grade next fall and older, set a time to try out band instruments in the Mercy Music Loft. Email Mr. Jensen jeffjensen@olgschool.net to arrange a time for your student. Alternative day and times may be available. Beginner Band is Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school.

Camp I Can

Camp I Can for Boys and Girls is an Emotional, Behavioral and Relationship skills camp hosted by Dr. Jules Nolan's Phoenix School Counseling. Staffed by experienced Mental Health Professionals it offers the opportunity for campers to grow their social skills, emotional management, kindness, friendship, self-awareness and conflict resolution. Women of Grace May Gathering

Come and enjoy refreshments and connection with other women of OLG while being guided through prayer and reflection. VEAP Collection & Diaper Drive

The end of the school year presents challenges for families who rely on school lunches to provide needed nutrition for their children during the school day. We are also collecting for the World’s Largest Diaper Drive. Drop off food, diapers and wipes in the bins outside Cassidy Hall throughout the month of May.
