Middleboro - Harvest Crews and Brews - Twilight at the Cranberry Bogs Sun, Oct 9, 4p. Grab a beverage and bite to eat with our harvest crew, listen to some live tunes and take in the harvest views as we wrap-up a day at the bogs...This event came out of COVID and after numerous requests from guests and the crew alike we are bringing this event back! Our Barn store will be open for those looking to purchase fresh cranberries and other local cranberry goodies. Parking spots are limited. No outside food or alcohol allowed at this time. While we provide some seating, we encourage you to bring a blanket, chairs etc and enjoy the live music and view of the bogs on our lawn or patio during this harvest season. Beverages and food will be available on site for purchase featuring locally sourced and prepared items. We encourage guests to walk around and take in the bogs in designated areas. Grab a photo with some antique equipment and just enjoy the fresh autumn air! Sorry no pets at this time for biosecurity & liability reason. In the event of rain, the vendors, seating and guests will be relocated inside the Barn!

OCTOBER 8TH – 8:00 TO 10:30 AM Fundraiser to help BRYRON AND ASHLEY RUIZ in Bluefield, Nicaragua complete their house. They currently live with their two children in a small shack over the water on the inland of Rama Cay. The island is overcrowded and has very poor sanitary conditions. Friends in Action, International, a Christian service organization, have been developing a new mainland village with clean water and septic systems. Byron and Ashley have a house in the village that is mostly completed but require an additional $1,860 to finish the house and move in. We are raising funds to help. Please consider supporting this effort to give the Ruiz family a decent home to live in and raise their family.
